Comments : Interview was breeze. I was told that I didnt have to file for both I-130 and I-485 but since I had done that, there were two files which were combined prior to the interview. The person who took the interview told us it was a good thing that we had filed for I-130 b/c it took care of medical examination and other necessaties that might have taken bit longer. We got the green card with in 3 weeks after the interview. Now the 2 year wait starts...

RFE Contents included some I-751 document along with additional document:

-I-797E Form

-Copy of various CC with joint account
-Gym membership card

Event Description

Embassy Review : Our interview took total of 15 minutes from walk-in to walk-out. Luckily we had organized documents and there was very minimal questions asked. Just things like affiliation with any terrorist organizations or people, convection, etc...the ones that are filled in during the I-485 application. We received the green card with in three weeks of interview as told. It was a breeze and glad that majority of the work is done.
Harassment Level : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
