as others have said - don't wait for the Pkt 3 or 4 arrive. Ours came after we had already date for the interview. call to NVC to get the case # and as soon you get it start preparing the pckt 3 and send to the embassy and email to the embassy |

I arrived to LAX airport, when I talked with the immigration officer I gave him the envelope, he asked me two or three questions, he took fingerprints then gave me my passport with the I-94 copy, and told me "welcome to America" |

the interview was easy and smooth, just took 5 minutes and the CO asked me:
what is the job of your fiance? how many times he has traveled to Colombia?
he has been married? do you have lived in USA? you have photos? and then I heard the sweet words: "visa approved" |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
