Everything went very smooth. Nice people, no harrasment at all. Interview lasted some 5 minutes, the usual questions asked: when and how did we meet, how long have we been together, what is my new address. Right after that they handed me the passport with the stamp and welcomed me to the US. |

EAD was denied on May 24 2010 due to the prior approval of the GC on May 14 2010. Since EAD is issued for the purpose of allowing people to work while they wait for the CG aproval, once GC is aproved, EAD is no longer necessary. |
Processing Estimates/Stats : |
Based on timeline data, your EAD may be adjudicated between May 3, 2010 and May 15, 2010*.
If this date range has passed or your application is past due per USCIS processing times then you should consider calling the USCIS to inquire on your petition. If you have been approved please update your timeline. |

Everything went smooth, people were nice and helpful (I needed a copy and the secretary offered to do it for me). It took some 4 hours but I left the embassy with visa in hand. The interview lasted less than 5 minutes and it was more like a friendly chat. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
