Local US CIS Office Review: Orlando FL
Review Topic: cis_topic
Event Description
Review Date : August 24, 2006
Embassy Review : Our appointment was for 8:30AM but we got there early. Everyone seemed to be called before us, even people who arrived much, much later. We finally got called at 9:00AM. The lady was very professional and started asking questions about where we met and why we chose to get married in Las Vegas. We mentioned that we had photos from the night we met and she started looking through our album. From this point in the interview she started to be very friendy. She asked for our IDs and insurance cards and took them away to photocopy. She also took the originals of some of our documents (although I did have copies made she took originals) which I never got back. At least I have copies for us! Then she stamped my passport. I am now a US resident!!!
Harassment Level : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
