RFE for not enough evidence of marriage. Bank statement summaries, tax returns, title to home (fully paid for), joint insurance cards, and photos.
======================================
07/17/2013 - after being asked again for tax returns, bank statements, and photos, Had a 30 minute interview together. She went over items on her clipboard that she already had and confirmed them. She then went though every one of the 466 photos we had brought with us. As some had husband in one shot and wife in another of the exact same background and date of photo. Agent asked, well who took the photo? Answer, the one behind the camera. Verbal approval received 51 weeks after submitting. In 6 days, will submit N-400.
08/01/2013 Just received notification of production of green card. |

Pretty dull ceremony. I expected the Judge to actively welcome the new citizens. All he talked about was his father and grandfather being lawyers and he failed and became a judge.
How embarrassing. |

Our AOS interview was 04/12/10 with an RFE which was fedex'd and delivered 04/29/2010.
On August 3, 2010 I contacted the USCIS Customer support number and asked why my case was 7 months and holding. USCIS sent me a letter with the type of service requested (Outside Normal Processing Times).
The letter stated, "Your case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of other action within 60 days of the date of this letter."
On October 4th, 2010, I contacted the USCIS Customer support number and asked why my case was 9 months and holding. USCIS said they would inform the offoce to update the file.
On October 5th, 2010, I started an INFOPASS appointment for October 18,2010.
On October 18th, 2010, We spoke to a person in the main lobby (did not get to speak to our interviewing agent) sitting behind a cubicle and he admitted that it was too long to process and he would speak to his supervisor. He stated we should now leave and check the USCIS website for Status.
October 19 2010 10:19 AM, Received email approval for the I-485.
I wonder if 60-90 day could have been shaved if I used INFOPASS in the beginning.

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
