Also the intial interview was declined due to lack of documentation because I, the sponser, had just changed jobs and they didn't have record of my income. We submitted documentation and got the approval 10 days later. Processing Estimates/Stats : Your I-130 was approved in 116 days from your NOA1 date. Your interview took 371 days from your I-130 NOA1 date.

Consulate Review: Chennai, India Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa Event Description Review Date : October 21, 2010 Embassy Review : My husband was asked when he proposed..which he couldn't remember..and neither could I honestly..The interviewer was very rude concerning my prior marriage and the fact that I have a daughter from that marriage. Implying there was no way a legitimate relationship could be in place because of my past. Still..the remaining questions he answered properly and in the end was denied due to my job change from 2 weeks prior. They gave him the blue sheet and I had to get a letter from my employer stating my income and position and start date to verify I still fit the AOS criteria. Overall, my husband said he felt humiliated because of the way the consular spoke to him. But at least we are approved Rating : Very Poor
