Embassy Review : |
I found the interview very straight forward.
I was prepared for the worst but the staff was very helpful especially when I had redone the DS156 into the new DS160.
I did throw away the DS156 as it stated on the embassy website that the DS156 is now replaced By the DS160 which need to be filled on line.javascript:emoticon('')
It could have gone all wrong as they only wanted to see the old DS156 , but they gave me the form to fill out there and then.
Otherwise I had everything except the kitchen sink javascript:emoticon('')
I gave them all the papers , but they did not wanted to see the chat logs or prove on ongoing relationship, which I had all ready to show.
I needed some translations for my birth certificate and German police certificate, witch I translated myself without the notary bit, but made a statement to the correctness myself.
At the end of the interview I was ask to swear that all the info I gave them was true.
Overall I must say it That i was panicking for nothing.
javascript:emoticon('')
Good Luck to all of you.

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
