POE Review: CDN-USA Border
Event Description
Entry Date : 2009-10-28
Embassy Review : POE - Pembina ND

K3 Visa - Apart from not knowing what they were doing it was painless. They had to get the manual out and smooth sailing from there. Finger prints taken after about 20mins and then $6 USD paid, passport stamped I94 stapled in and told that I would have to have a new I94 issued if I were to FLY abroad. We drive so he said not to worry. 25 minutes total!!
Harassment Level : Low

Embassy Review : Centennial CO (not really Denver)

Adjusting from K3:
Interviewers name Ray Yeo. Nice guy, very friendly but a tad weird. He kept comparing me to his son (I'm female lol)more interested in my education than any AoS stuff really.

Questions asked:
Is this a happy ever after?
directed to hubby - Is she still head over heals for you?
Where did you go to school?
What did you study?
What kind of Theology?
blah blah blah you get the point..many more of these type questions
So what joint info do you have?
Any questions?

Did not want to see joint mail, photos, trips or anything along those lines just joint assets.

end of interview we were told why he asked so many questions about my education and again it was about his son because I talk quickly and apparently that makes us smart people. lol Whatever!! Result was 'I'll review your file and you'll know something within 2-3 weeks. (next day we had the answer Approved)

When we left I was walking to the car and realized I hadn't given the tax transcript or letter from employer so I went back in and gave it to an info pass guy to put in the file. So if you forget to give something in GO BACK IN!
Harassment Level : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
