Embassy Review : |
Dinara was given an interview time of 12:30. When she arrived, she went through all of the procedures, handed over all of the documents, and began to wait. She said that there was hardly any line, only a few people. She explained that the consul was very nice, and he was looking at our case for a long time before calling her. She even thought something was wrong because of how long he was looking at it. He asked her where did we meet, what website, how did she find this website, how much time we were talking before meeting in person and who was the first to say that its time to meet. He also asked how many times and where did we meet. He asked if her parents are okay with us being an interracial couple. She explained to him that her parents were a bit hesitant at first, but are okay with it now. He then asked her to show him our pictures and then he said "well Dinara, you and Nate have a beautiful story, like a fairy tale, i wish you all the best. Hope you will keep it as a fairy tale." According to Dinara, it didn’t seem like he had any doubts at all about us being honest. Her visa was delivered 5 days later. Overall, it was a very easy experience for her at the embassy.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
