Consulate Review: Ankara, Turkey Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa Event Description Review Date : July 20, 2011 Embassy Review : WE WERE APPROVED!! It is 3:45 am my time, but I was too excited to go to sleep so I decided to come here to do a quick report. Appointment was at 10 am, but he arrived at 8 am. His interviewer had our entire package and my husband noticed that the CO had already written "approved" on our petition. CO asked where we met, how long we were together before we were married and asked him what did I do on the ship all of those months while he was working. He liked his CO. The only bump we had was when the CO told my husband that he could not accept the W2 that he printed out because the ink was low, but that it was alright because a copy was already included in the package. The entire interview took about 5 minutes. As a side note, the CO wrote a note on our package that said to cancel his B2 visa and issue the I551 (or something like that). Rating : Very Good
