Comments : Our file was sent to Baghdad. It took us about 2 months to move it to Amman. Once it was there before new years, it took another 1.5 month for Amman to review file and set an interview in April 1st. Finace was in AP for 25 days. Embassy website updated his AP status on 5/2/2010. He traveled to Amman to submit pass on 5/13, got back on 5/19.

He arrived at JFK on 5/29, it took him about 2 hours to exit the gate due to holiday weekend. he got his EAD stamp as well, we spent the weekend in NY and head back to Chicago.. Working on AOS

Comments : My fiance said the officer was nice at the passports. He was an ex-marines so they talked about the Iraq war since my finace served with US army for 5 years. Then he moved to another location waited for sometime and then they gave him the pass and when he asked about the stamp of EAD they told him to flip the I-94 cause it was already done on back of it.

Everything went well, just this airport is super busy and crazy people there..

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
