Embassy Review : |
Carna's interview lasted maybe 15 minutes. A very short interview by a filipina at the embassy before meeting with the consular officer. I thought I would have to wait outside the interview room, but was told I could be there with her. We had our papers in order, with selected photos of us together over the past three years, including Carna's family (parents and siblings), when I spent time with her at her teaching job in China (with friend's and students). He asked very few questions.
The CO was satisfied with everything and said he was approving her visa. I asked if we could pick it up at the embassy instead of having a delivery service send it to her Phil. address, since she had been working overseas. He said it wouldn't be a problem and gave us a paper to give to the clerk as we were processing things.
It went very smoothly from our perspective, and we piked up her PP witht eh visa after about three more days. |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
