They gave us a new one at the consulate and we filled it out and submitted the hardship letters at the interview. We still had to wait 7 months before he got his welcome letter. I put everything collected in a 3 ring binder and to it with me on our interview. It is an easy way to keep everything organized and I had plenty of copies of everything.
