My husband says that they were really nice and welcoming. One agent said to him, "Is that the love of your life waiting out there?" and when Ben laughed and said "yeah." The guy gave him back his passport and said "Welcome to America." |

We were approved! The interview was really easy. We got there about 20 minutes early, ended up waiting for an hour, then had a 5 minute interview and were approved! He asked us how we met, how many times we had been to each other's countries, he asked for our marriage certificate and some photos of our wedding and our travels. Then he said we were approved, had us sign a few things, then said Ben's greencard would be in the mail in 2 weeks. Not bad! |

Our mail was sent to the wrong address and there was a mess up with the fee. They tried to charge us the filing fee even though we submitted it with our I-485. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
