Comments : I got the bio done early. My actual appointment is on 1/20/12 but I walked in. My local office in Norfolk, VA is awesome. I went there around 2.30p, no line at all.
The security person was very nice. The second person I talked to was the one who did my bio.
I went in & got out in less than 15 minutes.

Awesome just like the last 2 two years. (Background info: I DID walk in for my AOS bio at the same local office as well)

Local US CIS Office Review: Norfolk VA
Review Topic: cis_topic
Event Description
Review Date : February 18, 2010
Embassy Review : It's different place from the Norfolk application center.. FYI
I thought it would be the same place.. not very far from each other..

Nothing to worry about tho, it went so easy for us. Our interviewer was fairly nice. He asked us to raise our right hands and would tell him all truth.
So, he went thru my files before he asked me all questions. Begin with our address, our name, all questions that you should be able to answer "NO", how we've met. He asked me to give him bank statement of our joint account, lease agreement , affidavit, wedding photo (which we don't have them).

So I was freaked out by that time, b/c I didn't have lease agreement , affidavit, wedding photo. But my hubby told him why we don't have it at this time.

Both of us love shooting, just to begin with. So when my hubby explained him how he fall for me, it's b/c I love shooting competitively. We later found out that my interviewer has 20 guns in his collection.. so we spent a lil bit time talking about that..

Eventually, he said "your application is approved" just make sure that we will have more evidence next time we apply for 10 yrs green card.. e.g. affidavit, photos, bills under our names, lease agreement, photo of us with our family.. and so on.

At the end of my interview, I curiously asked him "Is it true that you really know which couple's is legitimately married in couple minutes you have first met them?" and he said yes, he told us that he could tell from body language and the way they talked to each other.
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
