As told to me by Marcos:
My fiancé arrived 2.5 hours early. His appointment time was at 8:30am but he wanted to be there early, unfortunately they didnt open until 8:30 Once inside he gave his paaperwork to the lady at a window. She told him that he needed to have a copy of our co-sponsors PR card, which I forgot to provide Afterwards, he sat down, waited another 1.5 hours and was called to another window. An American lady conducted his interview. She asked: How did you meet your fiancée? You have a daughter together? When was she born? How much does your fiancée make annually? And then she said: "You can pick up your visa on Monday at 3:30pm." She also canceled his previous J-1 visa. His 2yr HRR was up this coming July, and they still approved him. Overall, I belive he had a good experience. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
