Hello just an explanation of whats going on.... Ali and I were married August 22, 2008 in Scotland. I returned to the USA September 2008, and filed our I-130 in October 2008 with the NVC with the intentions of going with the Consular process with the US embassy in London.
Ali came to visit me the end of October (for a 90 day stay on the Visa Waiver Program). He was to leave the end of January 2009. On January 1, 2009 we found out Ali lost his job in Scotland.
Due to a change in circumstances we changed from Consular process to AOS (after speaking with immigration). We were told because Ali enter the US with no intentions of staying, we could file AOS, do to unforeseen change in circumstances.
Hope that make sense!

Well Today July 28, 2009 was our interview in Cleveland and everything went very quickly. We had a nice officer, she was really nice. The whole interview only lasted about 15 mins (i think it was less). They reviewed Ali's paper work, ask me how we met and how our relationship progressed, and then asked for any supporting documents (joint accounts and such). |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
