At interview a request for evidence was issued. The evidence was sent in on Nov 6, so the time between sending the evidence and having the case approved was roughly 1 month. |

Embassy Review : |
I can only agree with previous reviewers. You will be treated well, receive free coffee and be entertained with DVDs about USA on a big screen tv once you are inside waiting for your interview. The person interviewing me was super great and easy-going. Even the guards are nice!
Don't forget to get in the right line both when waiting to enter the embassy, and once inside the embassy choosing from all the windows. You will want to be in the immigrant line. Be alert to which line you are assigned, the guards first pointed me to the non-immigrant line because they assumed I was there for a non-immigrant visa (like the big majority is). I had to question it before they realized their mistake and placed me in the right line. Don't be afraid to get every single detail right!
Before entering the embassy, they will ask you to take out all your electronics and put them in a tray. It might be wise to prepare this and avoid standing digging in your purse like I had to do. Electronics would be anything like phones, ipods, USBs, chords, electronic chips in bank cards etc.
It's all good! Visa stamped and approved!!! |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
