1)2009-09-10 Hard Copy NOA2 received
2)10/6/09 Call placed to NVC, was told that they rec'd petition on 2009-09-08 & the status is AP (advanced processing)
3)01-28-2010 Interview went well but they need more paperwork.
4)Pending I-601 waiver process through Athens
5) 08-23-2011 Waiver denied.
6) 10-19-2011 I found out, after all of these years, that my 'fiance' is guilty of visa fraud. He used me to get a visa to the USA. He conned me. He is married and had a baby boy 5 months after he asked me to marry him. With him living in Turkey, and me only visiting for a few weeks every year, it was easy for him to fool me. And the US Embassy Ankara did not have this information about Jacob. Since finding out this information, I see that this type of fraud happens more times than you think. All I can say is good luck with your visa journey and be careful. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
