Our interview was scheduled for 7:00am we arrived at 6:45am, checked in looking for my attorney because he had all of our evidences .My wife (usc) start panicking since she is pregnant and the time was running close, So I had to go and talk to that Lady who receiving our appointment letter if it was okay to wait for my attorney without turn in my letter 715 he showed up. I went there and drop in my letter we were given a buzzer that would go off when it was our turn. We waited for over 15 minutes and finally it was our turn. The officer was and old guy and he did seem friendly but very professional. We were sworn in with our right hands raised and told to sit and the interview began. He asked for my passport and driver’s license, ead (my wife the usc) and he asked for only my wife license. He went through my passport and said you came in the country in 2000 with B-2 and never left I said yes sir. So he asked me if changed my visa since then I said yes sir He asked for my confirmation letter from INS shows that approved from B-2 to F-1 and handed to him. He turned to my wife and ask her when is your husband Birthday….My wife answer that question in a second then he asked me the same Question my wife birthday I answered it. How did y’all met my wife break down for him…where y’all work my wife answered first then I was second. Then he asked my wife why took her so long to file for me ….that was tough question for my wife…she was I was collect all the information before file that’s why…Another tough question was why did y’all file tax separate do you know file together is more money so he answer the question himself…my wife was we didn’t know He asked for photos we handed it the album Start asking question how long I went to my wife home town I told him 3 times last year. He went through my wife family reunion photos took 2 photos my Graduation he took one Photos and one of me and my wife. Went make a copy from there He said your case looking good I don’t see anything wrong. He took my I-94 and look at my EAD he said this one you can keep because you still have time on it….He said wow y’all 2 years anniversary is 20 days from now so your going to have to remove conditional and my attorney jump in and said I already explained to them about that…Attorney was like so is he going to get stamped on the passport The officer was like they don’t do that any more since will take 2 weeks only to mail my GC. That was it He said congratulation….so when is the baby due…both me and my wife said at the same time October… Do you guys know if a boy or girl we both answer Boy….The final question was did y’all find name already we both said the name of the baby….That was it….As we walk out the Office my wife had a question about what it takes to get a job there INS….and the guy was like easy just go online all the info are there….

Good experience…..

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
