Embassy Review : According to my wife, the interview and everything went smoothly. She was even surprised at how quickly the interview went. They told her that her case was easy and only asked her a few questions. Didn't ask for pictures, but she said some of the others there were asked for pictures, so come prepared. My wife had the english speaking CO and the others had the Japanese speaking COs. Only thing she complained about was the long wait. She arrived at 8:45 for a 9:30 appointment, but had to wait around 2 hours before she was called for her documents. Then another wait of around 1/2 hour before fingerprints, then another wait of over an hour to be called for interview. She was given a number upon entering the embassy, so must still be first come first served even if you have appointment time. So go early and get the English speaking CO if you have a choice. But she was approved so all is GOOD!!!
Rating : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
