Event Description

Embassy Review : I think because he was Moroccan and we are both young, he was grilled with questions! But they took his passport, which is a good sign, and we will just have to wait and see if the visa arrives in the 6-10 days that they said. Make sure both your French birth certificate, if you have one, and police certificate are within 3 months of the interview. Also the passport pics can't be the same as the ones you sent NVC-my husband had to go to the picture vending machine and take some. His interview was at 1:00 but they didn't start calling numbers until 1:30 and he was there for maybe 3 hours. They already had the 3 or 4 pics that I sent with the petition and didn't ask for ANY evidence! I was also disappointed that my husband didn't offer to at least show the pics, but they put him through a lot already.
Rating : Poor

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
