Recieved a 221G on first interview in Manila, This was due to impregnating my Fianc`ee before her arrival and interview. Submitted a letter of being aware of this and affidafit of time frame of my last visit to her and doctors statment showing her menstral time frame.Fianc`ee was 6 1/2 Months pregnant with our child when allowed to leave Manila.Very emotional time praying we would have the birth in the US. |

Very smoth interview,Was concerned as my employer of 33 years closed its doors (auto worker Michigan)Was never asked for paystubs or employment letter.Had unemployment check stubs with us and a co-sponser lined up just in case. Wife was asked the name of her Father,Mother,Social Security number which she memerized.Asked my Father,Mothers name and asked to look at some photo`s. Very smooth easy interview and after 15-20 minutes was told i am going to approve your AOS.The interviewing Officer name was DeLaRosa and was just a great gentleman.Very happy with everything and was a lot of stress relieved when we walked out his door and hugged each other. WE MADE IT ! |

greetings all,
My Fiance in the Philippines had her interview with the consular on Jan 15th at 7am at the US Embassy in Manila. I have visited her 3 times now since Feb of 08. In Sept of 08 she became impregnanted on my last visit to her.During her interview The Consular was very nice she say and most all our paperwork was great exept they were not content with my I-134 affidafit of support as i did not enter her Sons name on the back as the other person i filed for at USCIS. Even though his name was on the front of form. Also with the baby now they want a new no marriage semenar certificate from here. She is almost 5 months along now and i pray that we can get this all done and have the baby her in US and have our family together. The white paper the Consular give to my Fiance has 2 check marks on it one for the new I-134 from me and one check for the semenar for her. I have send her the new I-134 and she is getting the new no marriage certificate on the 28th of Jan. On the white paper she recieve it says once these 2 documents are obtained to present to window 17 W at the Embassy. My question is once she submits this documentation will she then recieve her Visa or will she have to have another interview. We are running out of time with the Pregnancy and her being able to fly and it worrying us sick.Any imput would be greatly apreciated as we just dont know what will happen next. How long after the approval will it take to recieve the Visa? |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
