Consulate Review: Bangkok, Thailand
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : July 7, 2009
Embassy Review : Well Pon was a bit nervous, but well prepared. We had a 7AM appointment we showed up 30 minutes early, she was taken right in, I waited at Starbucks....
She was asked the standard questions by the new lady, Pon sid she was very nice. She was the 4th interview.
#1 Had to go to the Hospital to pick up records, and was told to come right back. #'s 2 and 3 got a yes and it was qiuckly her turn.
She was asked:
1 Where did you meet?
2 How many times did he come see you?
3 What job did you have when you first saw Mike?
4 What type of food do you cook?
5 When are you going to America?
That was it then she got the white slip and out the door.... We picked up the Visa 2 days later, and Pon and I flew on the 4th of July...
Overall the entire experence was ok and painfree except for the AP @ NVC part... Embassy did a great job and asked fair questions. They never looked through the paperwork in front of Pon, they may have before coming to the window.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
