Consulate Review: Naples, Italy
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : August 26, 2009
Embassy Review : Very nice day! Everything went fine
I arrived on Sunday at Areamare B&B, very clean and quite, just 5 minutes from the Consulate and 9Euros ride with the cab to the Istituto Varelli.
On Monday I arrived at 7.30 at Istituto Varelli and I finished at 10.30. I had to do two shots that I was missing (antitetanica and varicella e morbillo). I paid cash 230Euros

The doctor told me to go to the Consulate the same day to do the biometrics.
The lady at the Consulate was very nice.
The day after I had my appointment at 10.00am and I arrived at 9.15am.
They checked again my fingerprint asked me for all the papers (DS230, DS156, DS156K,BNL receipt,my birth certificate and I134). Then they asked to wait for the interview with the vice-consul.
She called me after 30 minutes and she checked the documentation she had, look at the pictures we sent with the I129F and asked me when did I meet my fiancè.
She asked me also if we were planning already the wedding and where.
She was extremely nice.
She told me to pick up my passport at 5.00pm at Mailbox etc.
At 4.15pm I went to pick up my passport

I hope that my review can help you guys. Good luck to all of you!!!!!
THANKS VISAJOURNEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rating : Very Good

POE Review: JFK
Event Description
Entry Date : 2009-09-04
Embassy Review : Landed at JFK at 10.40pm, waiting time to get to an officer 1hour.
Officer asked me if my visa was the one to get marry in the US!
Opened the yellow enveloppe, took my fingerprints and ask me to follow him to the office. 20 minutes later I was called by an other officer and they just ask me if I knew how much time I had to get marry.
EAD stamped.
Very easy.
Harassment Level : Low

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
