We had one RFE. We included letters from our pastor and a good friend, plus some additional financial evidence. A week after sending the info back, Ivonne's green card was approved. No interview required! |

My wife tells me that although there were a lot of visa applicants (all types), the process for the immigrant visas was well organized and went fairly quickly for her. They line up in three lines at 7am and at each step there was some waiting. She arrived at 6:45 am for the 7 am appointment (everyone has a 7 am appointment). She was given a folder for all her documents, was finger printed, and then had the interview. The CO was female and very nice. She only asked two questions - how did you meet and where does you husband live. She was approved and finished by 11:30 am. The only original document they did not return was her police certificate. All in all, a very easy process (we did pray a lot about this.) |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
