Event Description

Embassy Review : We had our interview at 8 am. We arrive 30 minutes before. We past through security and went to the 8th floor. We were requested to show our letter for the appointment and then we were sent to the waiting area. We waited there for about 45 minutes and then my name was called. An officer greeted us and we were conducted to his office. He was very polite all the time and professional and friendly. He sword us and started to ask us were we meet, how long were we dating, he asked for the original of my birth certificate and my wife's documents. He asked for some pictures and we gave an album to him, He asked were the pictures were taken and we told him that were taken in Europe and Latin America. After this he was convinced and he only asked the yes and not questions. He told us that was not possible take a decision at that moment but everything was fine.

The interview last for 15 minutes and then he gave a paper that said that the decision will be taken in the next 60 days.

I received my notice of approval yesterday and I'm very happy.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
