Comments : **Pkt4 received via email on 2009-06-03 (a few hours after I emailed the Consulate for a status update due to it taking almost 4 weeks), but was dated 2009-05-28. The consulate apologised for not having sent it that previous week on the 28th.

**No actual hard-copy letters/packages were receive for Pkt3 or Pkt4, only emails. The email for Pkt3 was sent to the email address my fiancee put on the I-129F. Pkt4 email went to both of us.

**My National Police Certificate took over 15 days to get due to some SAPol confusion or something. I would recommend starting on this early, just in case. It delayed my Pkt3 response as I had everything else ready.

Embassy Review : Got the lift up to security on the 10th floor at 9:35 for my 10am interview. They checked my passport and appointment letter and pretty quickly had me on my way up to level 59.

I got my waiting area "immigrant visa" ticket at 9:42 and was called to window 3 about 10-15mins after that. The guy was nice and friendly and we joked while he took my passport, fee receipt, express post envelope and a set of prints. I might have signed my sworn statement here as well, or perhaps at the next window? I forget!

I sat down again for another 10mins and was then called to window 6 for my interview. It was with another really nice guy and it took only 5mins at most. There were no real questions, just some casual chit-chat and before I knew it he said "Your visa is approved." All I could say was "Wow. Thank you. That's it? Thank you."

I was back to the ground floor by 10:20 and happy as could be. I called my fiancee and walked around Sydney in a daze for a while :-)

I had a great, quick, successful experience! I hope you do too!
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
