4/30 - Received an email from the Consultate indicating that a letter with instructions on picking up the visa package was mailed to my fiance' on 4/24.
6/2 - Ibrahim received a called from the Embassy notifying him that they were able move his interview date up to June 9th!
6/9 - No luck with the Embassy, just confusion. When Ibrahim got to the Embassy, he was told that his name was not on the list, then told it was on the list, finally told that it was not on the list and that he should contact the Embassy via email for a date. We followed up with the Embassy and they said that he did not show up for the interview so his date has returned to 8/4. Ibrahim later found out from others who received the same call he received, regarding rescheduling of their interview, that some of them had the same experience he had. Oh well. It was a nice possibility, but, it is still all in God's hands. |
