No RFE's. I used this websites guidelines and had no problems so far. My fiancee's K-1 visa was approved at the interview with no trouble. Thanks! |

Very fast, very efficient. The whole process only took about 15 minutes. Awesome. The only problem was we accidentally gave our Vaccination Supplement to the officer. |

Had biometrics appointment on November 4th, 2009. On November 19th, we received a letter saying the FBI couldn't verify fingerprints, so they scheduled another biometrics appointment for November 30th. >( Got an RFE for criminal background (which we expected because of two failed fingerprintings) AND another medical record request (because border security never sent USCIS the medical records). Had to see a civil surgeon to get another medical inspection. Sent the RFE back to the California Service Center by certified mail on 2010-2-16, and was received on 2010-2-22. Changed address on 2010-3-3, and was approved on 2010-3-4. They sent it to the right address! We got it! |

Biometrics appointment on November 4th that had fingerprints the FBI rejected apparently didn't interfere with the EAD being issued. USCIS said on their website that this was approved on November 20th, but later changed it to November 25th. |

Read on Visa Journey that people are normally issued three sheets of paper for Advanced Parole, but my wife only received two papers. |

Relatively free of trouble. It took about 15 minutes of waiting in line to talk to the first officer. Officer processed the documents quickly and took fingerprints. He then called an officer over to take us to a waiting room. We only waited about 1 minute, and they gave us the all clear. On the way out, however, an officer stopped us and asked us a few questions. A little strange, but after that we were good to go. The whole process took about 25 minutes. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
