By that time, we haven't received my EAD card yet but when we came home after the interview, my EAD card was there in the mail. We filed our federal tax return after I got my SSN print out but it was rejected twice. We filed our return again on Feb 18, '09 and it was accepted. We brought the copy of our tax return on Feb 19, 2009 to our USCIS local office. On Feb 23, '09 a Welcome letter and I-130 approval notice were mailed out and received in the mail on Feb 26.
