We have been waiting for the visa since and as of yet, nearly 5 months later, have no information. All we know is he's in "mandatory administrative processing". This waiting seems eternal. They kept him in immigration while they called DC for 2 hours. He did ask them to change his visa from CR to IR, but they said no and told him to do it at immigration here. They set him up in a hotel and he will arrive in Portland tomorrow morning 3-12-09, God willing.
