We were directed to go to the USCIS Application Support Center nearest us to get fingerprints done even though they could use her military fingerprints. We were told that often it is difficult to get the military to send them in a timely manner, and often the fingerprints arent clearly legible. So we went in without an appointment and got her fingerprints yesterday, June 27, 2013, in Nashville, Tennessee. Received NOA1 today, June 28, 2013 in the mail.
She should have been able to get her N400 processed while at Air Force Basic Military Training. They can do that at this time, even if in the Reserves or Guard. But at Lackland AFB Texas she was told she could not. There were 7 Permanent Residents in her group, and they did the N400 and oath for only one of them. Her NOA1 received today shows there is no charge or fees for her, and they are processing it all for free as a member of the U.S. Armed Forces, as they should have done at basic training. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
