Port of Entry Review
Event Date
Port of Entry : JFK
POE Date : 2013-09-10
Got EAD Stamp : No
Biometrics Taken : Yes
Harassment Level : 0
Comments : We were supposed to have Detroit as a POE but since we missed our connecting flights due to fog at Samara airport we had to get another set of flights to the US. The only ones they had were through JFK. All in all though a good experience and it took about 45 minutes. I took her through the US Citizens line with me. They had NO questions for her but did tell her she had 90 days on her visa. That's it!:) They returned her passport and we were on our way. Welcome to the USA!:))

Embassy Review : Overall a very good experience. We waited about 2.5 hours for the interview but it did take a while to get into the Embassy to start with. We got there at 7:30 and there was a very long line already but it did move quickly so not a problem. When they did call her name I went up to the window with her so they interviewed us together. The man was very polite and asked her only about 4 questions. He started out in English then switched to Russian which she liked. To be honest I don't ever remember him asking me anything? He asked her how much time we had spent together and she said about a month in a half and I added that was total from all the trips. That's it! Approved
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
