It was kind of Cool at the Manila Embassy. It seemed as though there was a 1000 there waiting but it was probably 400. It was like a park and a holding pen for everyone. I didn't want to wait and walk up to the main area. A guard ask what I needed and asked for my Passport. He looked read and told me to go get my wife to be and bring her with me to him. He got us in the line to go in right away.
Inside we got a number .. they called us up to a window asked for a few things and we sat down. They called Rosie for the interview and asked her 5 question and she was approved.
We paid AIR21 .. which is a joke and another story. to deliever her Passport and visa.
I could not bring her home with me since she had to take a one day CLASS to leave the country. She took hers in CEBU and needed her visa to take it .. it was about 8 days to get her visa in the Mail.
ALL and ALL it has been long but worth it all.
I am Rosies and Rosie is mine... LOVE is a crazy thing.

What a Great X-MAS present Rosie received her GREEN CARD TODAY.
2009-12-11
After all the time, transfers, Agents and personal stress .. we made it.
They asked some questionable ..questions we answered all of them honestly and with no problems.
After that they looked at none of our documents or requested anything .. THEY JUST APPROVED ROSIES GREEN CARD.

This one was more confusing as to what was required besides the forms the the K-1 Visa app it's self. (Laughing)
Looking forward to at least one RFE or more.
The Medical (shots) is questionable at best. She did a I-693 and got 2 shots she needed. |

We are getting her green card without a interview. GOD IS GREAT.
PRIOR POSTING:
Well their at it again. Dragging out the process, when there is No reason to.
They are asking for what we already submitted with an addtion of 2011 state and Federal taxes and car registration with both our names on it when my wife doesn't have a drivers lics.
Go figure lucky we have filed Jan 30 2012 so I can send those. Also the car is NEW and we have it in both our names and I sent that also.
Witha letter of sorry no children yet so can NOT give you a Birth Certificate to a child we dont have.
HAHAHA
And I sent our dental bills showing we use the same dentist and the dates we were there.
God will this ever end ... Love her Dearly .. but this does put a strain on the relationship ... not us but them. |

We arrived at about 6:30 and waited and waited. I walked up the street and the security Guard asked to see my passport from the U.S. Then told me to go get my future wife and get into line. Thank God I was bored and took the walk hehehe.
We wait inside and they called her number, they asked for a few pictures ask Rosie was I her Future Husband. They said thank you please have a seat and wait for your interview.
We sat and they called her for her interview, she was asked about 5 question. Said everything was in order, please pay Air21 and wait at home for her Passport and Visa.
Everthing was painless and fast .. we spent 2 days in Manila which was nice for a little vacation way from Cagayan De Oro .. so we shopped a little.

BIOs taken and everything went well. I guess this was for her EAD and her AP because it is the only one Rosie and I have had.
I is a very hard place to find since the street is new and the building is new. Nice thing is it is near the AirPort and since a Mailman was delivering mail in the area he help us with direction. Oh, SHOT !! we was almost late for the BIO's.
Oh it was funny one of the USCIS agents at the office is Filipino which made my wife relax a little more.

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
