Got to the Seattle USCIS site 10/mins before interview, waited about 30/mins. Their rollcall procedure sucks, too many people and you have to listen for them to call your name, and they do it by the door. Interview took about 15/mins. Wife and I both went in, and got sworn in. The lady asked questions and pretty much, I answered most of them, she didn't require my wife to answer all the questions. She only asked how/when we met, if I added her to my insurance, when was the baby due, name of the baby, who attended the wedding, asked questions on the pictures we showed her. We had to explain that we couldn't get drivers license or add to bank accounts cus waiting on SS to update their system from the EAD. At the end, she told us that she was going to further review the paperwork, and if she needed anything, she will contact us within a week, and if we don't hear from her, then she had ordered our GC and to just wait for it in the mail. 4-5/hrs later, got a txt from the USCIS site taht our I-485 was updated, checked and it was updated to Card production ordered, yeah! Guess we passed! |

On USCIS site, this is still @ Initial Review status, but we got this before any of the other documents... don't trust the USCIS site too much on your status... |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
