Comments : We were in Ukraine when we recieved the date for the interview. We had to fly home early and get to the interview. We went to the Memphis office were we went inside, security, slid our interview paper in the slot and waited for the IO to call our name. 10:30 was our interview time and we arrived at 10:05 and the called our name around 11:05. The man that called us in did not have a smile nor a frown. Though I think he took his job serious. We went into his office where he asked for our ID's. Then he asked if we had documents that showed that I had a bonified marriage together with my wife and child. I showed him our leases, health ins, dental ins, phone records. Several mins after this he asked my wife you came here as a J-1 student and she was in her 3rd year at her university. Why throw it all away. My wife told that man that she met me "her husband" the honest truth. a moment later he said congats you have been approved and you will receive a green card in the mail in 10 days. So, we left. Overall experience was 8 on a 1-10 scale.

Comments : AP worked fine, my wife overstayed her visa 3 years and she was paroled into the US on Aug 18 2009. She had not left the US since June 6, 2006. Everything was fine coming back in. You have noting to worry about as long as you have all the right documents.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
