Event Description
Review Date : February 22, 2009
Embassy Review : Arrived 15 minutes early. I was nerve wrecked but my girl was a cool customer. Got called in right at the appt time by a male adjudicator. Started the interview by raising both our hands that we would be stating the truth. He asked us how we met, told him we met online through a dating site. Then he told us he would be asking questions that either of could answer. Asked if we had bills and other stuff that show co-mingling of finances. I handed him 6 month worth of bank statements, life insurance beneficiary snapshot, and car insurance documents. He said that was enough and told us we'd come well prepared. The vibe around the interview started getting better and started asking us about work, economy and stuff. Proceeded to verify information on the g-325a for my wife, and after that approved the i-130. He then verified my info on the g-325a. Since we were pretty thorough on the initial submission, he just asked for the new i-864, paycheck stuff/employment letter etc. He told me he going to approve my AOS and should get my card in about 5-10 days. He said if I have an emergency before the card arrives, I could get the passport stamped. The officer was extremely courteous and professional, couldn't have asked for better.
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
