Consulate Review: Vancouver, Canada
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : October 15, 2008
Embassy Review : We arrived 30 minutes early for our interview and had no problems at Security. This is of course because we didn't bring any cell phones or other prohibited items. We had my 5 year old son with us, which they had no problem with, but I would recommend bringing paper and crayons or a pen for children to have something to do as it is a very sterile environment.

A few other couples arrived after us for thier interviews and the consulate went in order of who was there first (Which was really nice). They were very friendly even when we were missing one form (They gave us a blank one for us to fill out right there). Overall they were very easy to deal with and very friendly.
Rating : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
