Hi Chidera,
Congratulations on the milestones for your k1 visa so far. I would like to get some insights on the interview scheduling process at the consulate in Nigeria/Lagos, I see that’s the next process you will be working on soon. I’m trying to get an understanding on the wait time of scheduling interview.
Thank you so much, looking forward to connecting. We are in the very early stages of k1, currently awaiting NOA2.

We just moved to the embassy after almost 300 days at NVC. My fiance and I are now working on filling out the DS-160 and paying the fee. We heard that the embassy is going to schedule the interview appointments. I am not sure how long the wait will be; it can be anywhere from weeks to months. We'll be getting the letter for document review, and that is where they will give us the actual interview letter.

Thank you. I think we are in the same chat on what’s app
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
