(Johannesburg had a backlog of medicals) -August 14th- medical finally received -August 15th- status changed to APPROVED. -August 16th- status changed to ISSUED -August 19th- text/email from DHL with tracking number for visa -August 20th- around 7:35am DHL showed ready for pickup! #visaInHand *********Interview******* Tino had his interview August 1st, 2024 at 10am, but arrived around 8:15am. (You can arrive earlier than your appointment time to miss the long wait/line) Tino lives in Pretoria. The embassy was like 45 minutes away and since we wanted him to be well rested and not have the hassle of early morning traffic, and to be able to arrive on time, we decided to stay at a hotel near the embassy. Once he arrived he checked in and received a number. Once his number was called he went to a window where the interview would be held. They asked for his birth certificate, police clearance from Nigeria and Pretoria. 1. Your fiancés name? 2. How did you meet? 3. Have we met in person? 4. When? 5. Does your fiancée have any children? 6. What’s is the child(ren) name? Took MY (u.s citizen) I-134, most recent tax transcript, W2 and his passport. Told him APPROVED but his medical is still pending (meaning not received from physician yet) once received they will update status. Pretty straightforward. Processing Estimates/Stats : Your I-129f was approved in 110 days from your NOA1 date. Your interview took 202 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.
