Our I-129F(K3) and I-130 applications approved the same day. And Choice of agent letter arrived for K3 a couple of weeks before. I did 2 trips to Dublin Embassy on 9th & 23rd of March. As I did not have an electronic DS-156, first time. |

Two interviews at Dublin pre-clearance. The first officer had not dealt with a first K3 visa entry before, so he had to ask his supervisor what to do with the big Envelope. I saw had my Heather and my G-325a amongst other forms when opened by the immigrant officer in a side office. I was still standing behind a glass screen but an friendly character who just asked a few simple quesions. In a much relaxed way then most of my previous entry interviews at Philadelphia. The whole process could 15minutes, which was cool as I had allowed an hour for this. No EAD though, which does prevent me from looking for work straight away and i therefore went back to work in ireland until the EAD is approved. |

Posted first application on August 2nd, but rejected because I-485 was wrong version and fee wrong amount. I-485 form was changed on July 15. I had last checked that properly July 14. It was received August 4th, reject letter sent August 10th, got letter August 14th. Applied again on 16th, USCIS got it on 18th and replied on 25th August with NOA, which I received on 28th August.
[The delay in applying for AOS, was due my financial sponsor not having filed all tax return. This was not finished until July 2010. In the meantime, I did leave and retry the USA twice and each time I got more questioning by Immigration officers. (Our AOS/Green Card interview is at Mount Laurel, NJ which is closer than Philadelphia, PA.. but it's not the list above. The interview itself was short enough. With 4years of photos and 4ticket stubs in our ring binder.. the formalities were straightforward. Besides a moment where the officer had to confirm leaving USA to go Canada for 2days with advance parole after making AOS application did mean abandonment of application. On a K3 advance parole is not needed so it was no problem after she confirmed with a colleague. Interview lasted about 30minutes, I think. It started 10minutes early. The date on my Green card mailer was Dec6th, it arrived a couple of days later. |

applied for EAD before I-485. Because I'm possibly not moving to the US fulltime until January 2010. Depending on the job hunting goes after the EAD is approved. No biometrics done, came with no fingerprints available box. |

First filled Jan10th, but returned within 2weeks because I didn't sign section 14. reapplied at check cash 2weeks later.
The biometrics took 10minutes, the photo taken there was used on my final nationalization cert.
Nationalization interview at 1.30pm, it was 30minutes, but only took 40minutes with 6 question around the constitution, president expect one for "What is the state capital?". The oath cermony was 3pm the same day. And took 1.45minutes with 24people sworn in. With more people I imagine it would take longer.
Also the passport form in the packet received at my ceremony was expired. |

On 23rd of Febuary, I got a letter with interview date of March 9th 2009. Which seemed very sudden after 10months of waiting for I-129F approval. It only barely gave enough me time for the medical (I went with Dr Damian Rutledge rather Dr Tim Glesson, who I used in May 2008, as the time of result was 48hours against a week). Then I noted that my Police Certificate from April 2008 could out of date(it turned out it was) so I applied for another a donnybrook gardai station. I met a gardai over the following weekend I was first in the 1pm appointment queue. And we molety crew of families, couples, some people of their own, like me. They would not take an extra 3 cents from me.
They ask for letters, but were safitied with a collection christmas, valetines, brithday cards. It might been I have to the USA so often and that was here quite often but they did quite ask for much proof of relationship besides the my statement under oath. And all the certificates birth, marriage, police. I did not get any complaint about your Tax documentation. It took about 2hours, before I got the main interview with first offical who was actaully from the US of A. And he was very friendly I got the impression by this point by application had been 99% approved since all the paper work was in order. |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
