Medical exam on 10-15-2024 showed a scar on the lung (from COVID) but they say they must test for TB which is a 2 month delay.
They said the results would be in on 12-18-2024 and they would deliver them to the embassy themselves so she went back and the embassy has not received them but moved for with her interview while waiting for the medical clinic to drop off the results.
The medical clinic apparently has not been returning results to the embassy for many people as they stated and many people are there just waiting for the medical clinic to drop off these results.
Because the Medical results have never been turned in from the clinic, the case has been refused until the clinic provides the medical results.
Visas were issued 12-31-2024 and can be picked up 01-02-2025 at 9am. Happy New Year! |

Hi! Have you set an appointment for the interview yet?
Hi yes, it's on July 19th
@Stephanyv - we do not have an interview scheduled - we have not yet received packet 3 which contains the information to schedule the interview.
Finally we got our email today from the embassy and it has the scheduled appointment in the email!
We also got our email today! ??
@Stephanyv - you got your email from the embassy today too?
How did the interview go??
The interview was cancelled; she had bronchitis and they postponed it until they can confirm that it is not TB (another 70 days)
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
