interview was pretty trivial - I mostly just needed to show up! They only asked basic information like date of birth and how we met. |

Approved without interview, even though my wife and I separated 9 months after our marriage. We have remained married until after ROC. The RFE was confusing but basically meant my stuff had gotten lost and after resubmitting my evidence I was approved very quickly. Please see my posts of july-september 2011 for more info if you are in a similar situation. |

Very straightforward and friendly interview. Oath ceremony same day - quite nice. 54 new citizens from 29 countries of origin! Next day, went to government building in downtown Seattle and got a same-day passport! |

interview was very to the point, extremely short. They were only interested in seeing the correct paperwork and were happy to help me as fast as possible. There was confusion about the "militia certificate", a weird document that doesn't really exist anymore, so you have to bring an official statement from your town hall saying that it doesn't exist anymore :-). Non-Belgians need not worry about this at all. Anyway, I came back the next day to turn in this form and got my visa 10 minutes later.
Piece of cake. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
