Embassy Review : |
We arrived at 6:30 and they opened shortly after. Had to show our Interview letters to get in, then went through security. Gave the interview letters to another security guard and was told to go down the hallway and take a seat.
We were called at 7:05, followed the officer back to his office. He swore us in and then asked for photo ID. Gave him all 3 of our passports (Mine, My Wife's, and My Step Daughter's). Also handed him my License and my wife's license. My wife is from Manchester England, so he asked her about Manchester City Vs United. Then we chatted about our local football team the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He asked me for any sort of joint accounts, and while I pulled those, he asked my wife a few of the no questions. Even stopped at the terrorist one and said he didnt think she was a terrorist.
He asked my step daughter how school was and what grade she was in. Then I handed him our most recent bank statement and a copy of our Chase credit card statement. I offered him more if he wanted it and he said that was all he needed.
Then he threw away my wife's EAD, stappled our I-94s to their I-485 applications and printed out a form we had to sign about removal of conditions.
And that was it.
We had a HUGE binder of evidence and numerous photo albums, but he didn't look at any of it.
He was very laid back and friendly.
We got the I-551 stamps in the passports
We had no questions on intent either, since my wife and step daughter entered on VWP.
Very easy interview! We are just so glad to have it done. |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
