I haven't filled out DS-160 yet, because it is not clear for me when should I submit DS-160, I tried to contact embassy and they said wait until we send you instruction email. But some people here at Visa journey members said that they filled out DS-160 right away, paid visa fee and scheduled appointment before they get email from US consulate in Ethiopia.
If you go US embassy in ethiopia website it says don not pay and schedule appointment until you get email from embassy. If you do, your interview will be canceled on your interview date. Therefore, I am waiting until now. it is been 18 days since my case says ready. please forward me any information you get. Thank you.
