Event Description
Review Date : November 26, 2024
Embassy Review : I arrived at the embassy way too early (two hours, but figured I'd get a coffee and go over my paperwork), when I got there the queue was none existent with only oner family in front of me, I explained I was too early to the official but they asked for my details anyway and said I could go through security and wait inside or get a coffee and come back later. I went straight inside and through security without issues, then at the next desk again explained I was early and she didn't mind and give me my number and directions to the interview area.

The first interview was simply taking copies of my paperwork and didn't take long at all with only two people ahead of me in the queue, I had to wait around 40 minutes for the second interview , I was asked how we met and then how many times had we met since we were married, as soon as I mentioned that my wife and I lived together for nearly two years he seemed to be happy with the situation (and instantly seemed to be satisfied), asked a final question about if I'd ever lived outside of the UK and then informed me that I was approved, all in all about 5 minutes. they kept my passport which was returned to me in 7 days with the visa.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
