Embassy Review : arrived about 6 AM finally finished everything by 4:00 PM K1 visa approve K2 denied for my daughter because she has claim to American citizenship that was a whole other process when i went over to ask about it before K1 interview i was told "it could take months to process" but after K1 interviewer told me to go over there they processed it that day. I don't know why they would tell me this other than deter people from walking in and filing for birth of US citizen abroad. also it is really stupid that you must pay for Visa processing for the USA to the bank of the philippines in pesos. they have a cashier on site and i was able to pay for passport processing with DOLLARS right there on the spot. a real weak spot in the system. I am American and I should be able to pay for everything in dollars in MY EMBASSY on the spot if i choose to do so.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
