My case was transferred from Ankara, Turkey to Yaounde, Cameroon at the NVC level. Submitted my request via email to NVC and was approved within 24 hours.
Case was DQ within 6 days.
Request for expedite was approved at nvc on the 04.30.2024.
When our case was received by embassy, Embassy sent us an instruction to select our appointment ourselves. This caused by a lot of panic and there no appointment available. However, we kept try and got a date within 2 days. First date we got was July 10 2024 but kept checking and later saw 4 June and 12 June. Had to go for 12 June since my medical would not have been available by June 4th. |

I arrived at the embassy by 6:00 AM and found that over 10 people were already there. I would advise going without any bags, carrying only your documents in a file. This will help you avoid delays since they will have to search through all bags.
I was given number 6. They started receiving us by 7:30 AM, and I was out by 8:00 AM. My interview lasted approximately 3 to 5 minutes. The officer asked to see pictures, inquired about how we met, and asked which state my spouse lives in. |

Tan. on 2024-07-03 said: Yes i was given approval. and received my passport in two days
Tes on 2024-07-08 said: Hello, congrats on your success. Did you do medical exam in cameroon and if so can you give me an estimate of how much it costs.
Also did you do expedite request after your case was DQ or can it be done after submitting AOS and IV documents?
Hi, I am from Nigeria and I am thinking of transferring my case to Cameroon
What’s the possibility and what is the processing times for IL
IR1 case
DQED in September 21
If it’s possible then what would be the requirement I would need to make it happen
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
