Embassy Review : It was a piece of cake! The people are really nice at the consulate. My appointment was at 07.30h. We got there around seven, had to wait a little bit, but the line wasn't too bad yet. Once we received the number at the reception, we went through security and then into another building. There we had to wait about 30 min before my number was called the first time. I had to give the lady 3 pictures of me and she gave me an envelope and told me to put my address on plus the stamps and then to wait until my number was called again.
We waited another 30 min until I was called again. At this window the lady took the rest of my documents and told me what I will have to do once I enter the US. She told me the Consul will talk to me next. So I waited another about 30 min until I was called again. The Consul was really nice and the interview took all together about 5 min. He just took my fingerprints, asked me where I met my fiance and told me to have a good trip
I was out of the Consulate by 09.15 and had plenty of time to go get my Medical done.
Rating : Very Good

Embassy Review : We had our Interview on May 19th, 2008 and it was easy. We got there about 20 minutes before our appointment. Parking was free and right next to the building. We went through security and then dropped the appointment letter of. We waited 5 minutes and were called in the office. The officer had our file in front of her and basically just asked us all the questions from the form again. She also asked how we ment, if my husband met my parents yet and if I had met his son yet. That was it. She gave me the stamp in my passport right there, because she said they are changing the computers right now and the card production will take a little longer. She kept my AP and my employment authorazation and that was it. It took all together about twenty minutes!
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
